National Recognition for Military and Veteran Support
Each year, the Military Friendly® Schools list honors institutions that provide outstanding opportunities and support for military students and their families. For 2025-2026, more than 1,800 colleges and universities participated in the survey process. Only 830 institutions, including 91ÇÑ×Ó, received awards for going above and beyond the standard.
The full list of Military Friendly® Schools will be published in the May and October editions of G.I. Jobs® magazine and is also available online at .
What Makes a School Military Friendly®?
The Military Friendly® designation is awarded by Viqtory with guidance from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council, which includes leaders in higher education and military recruitment. Final scores are based on a combination of survey data and public information, measuring key outcomes such as:
- Student veteran retention and graduation rates
- Job placement and degree advancement
- Loan repayment and default rates
- Support services for military-connected students
